Maroun Antoine Kyrillos is one of the Co-founders of Himaya Switzerland SA and founder of Himaya Iraq Ltd and Himaya SAL. He holds a Master in Financial Management, a BA in Economics from Paris II – Assas and an advanced diploma in insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) in London.
He started his insurance career in 1989 with Generali France in the marine insurance, a leader in France in Yacht Insurance. In 1995, he joined AXA group in the Gulf for almost 10 years where he occupied different positions as Country Manager of KSA, General Manager of AXA-UAP in the UAE, Deputy General Manager at AXA in charge of Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, Branch manager, Account Executive etc.
In 2005, he joined Arab Bank for 3 years where he set up the bancassurance/insurance department of the Bank. After negotiating the purchase of a majority share in al Nisr al Arabi Insurance Company in Jordan (a listed company on the Amman Stock Exchange) on behalf of the Bank, he became its Chairman and the Chairman of its investment committee.
Currently, he is the Chairman-GM of Himaya Switzerland SA (Finma no. 37737) and Himaya SAL in Beirut, and he is also the Managing partner at Himaya Iraq Ltd (Insurance brokerage). He is a Board member at Arabia Insurance SAL and member of its Investment Committee. He is as well the Chairman of Arabia Falcon Insurance Company in the Sultanate of Oman (a listed company on the Muscat Stock Exchange) and Chairman of its Nomination Remuneration/Investment/EXCO Committee.

Joelle Jazra Kyrillos is one of the co-founders and the administration and finance manager of Himaya Switzerland SA.
Joelle holds a B.A. in Economics from Saint Joseph University (USJ), a Master of Money and Banking from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and an Executive M.B.A. from Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (ESA).
Joelle has a wide professional experience in the banking sector and in consulting. She worked ten years in the corporate banking sector before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for 8 years working within the Tax and Legal Services (TLS) Team on Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard (CRS) projects advising governments, banks, financial institutions and insurance companies.
